About Me

Greetings and Salutations!

However you made your way to my page…welcome and thank you! This is a compilation of my life’s journey that I am excited to share. This page is/will be three fold. It is a place to share my love of living life simply, nature and landscape photography, and living intentionally with Spirit. I believe that living your best possible life, and living it as intentionally as possible with the Earth, will help you navigate life and keep you on a positive path.

I currently live in Midcoast Maine, in my cottage, surrounded by woods. It’s very serene, and the amount of wildlife I hear day and night is a blessing. Being so close to the ocean, I find many places to walk where I can enjoy the Earth’s treasures, as well as the Ocean’s tranquility. I am thankful I will be able to share with you some of my favorite places here in Maine, as well as anywhere else I may travel. Sometimes I never know where I will end up.

Some of the topics you will find in my blog will be based on intentional daily living. Not only will there be recipes, but how to be in the present while cooking and enjoy it! I will share tips in regards to herbal remedies, what food can do for you, foraging, and more. Aside from food, I may also discuss health, wellness, hygiene, and self-care routines. You may find I talk about “it takes a village” and see why being around people in general can help heal, foster positive motivation, and may even open you up to possibilities for new hobbies, friendships, and experiences. There will also be times where I discuss grounding, being present, being intentional, and finding some form of way to center yourself, find your own path that helps you, and to recognize your importance in this vast world even though you are only one person. Basically…I am hoping you will read something here that will help you center and love yourself for who you are.

The second part of this will be my nature and landscape photography. It has been eons since I took an actual course to learn to photography, but I have always loved taking photos. They are our memories of the past and a way to remember what may be forgotten. I am huge on nostalgia and sentiment. Items and photos tell so many stories and can trigger such strong emotions. I feel that is a part of our humanity that is so important. It shows us we live and have lived. I choose to take nature photos, as I find peace and feel so grounded in nature. It is the most effective way to truly keep me present. Singing while cooking is a close second. I LOVE to travel…it’s my choice of expensive hobby. While I travel, I love to take photographs of things I find beautiful. Growing up around the Great Lakes, in the woods, along the water, and living in nature via camping, canoeing, and hiking, I found so much happiness. It extended to being obsessed with everything in nature, and how it lives and grows, and what it means for us. We exist because it exists. This is why we need to learn to live with the Earth, not just on it. The best way I can show people its importance, is through the beauty I see on the other side of the lens. Hopefully, the more I share, the more people will see the beauty and the importance.

Thank you for taking the time to read about me and I look forward to sharing and communing with you all along the way. Many blessings!
